HDC got the massive hookup in time for the 3rd Sunday Supper/Flocktown Farm Launch with John T Howell and Lars Crooks’ immpressive design/build execution of two prototype wood burning grills. They are custom welded, fully adjustable, built to last, elegant and functional with beeswax and mineral oil sealed old growth cherry cutting boards. They are awesome and John, Lars and crew cranked long and hard to create them…they even built a new shop to birth them.
And then we broke them in like champs on June 23rd.
In honor of the fire bricks lining their fireboxes, I shall name them The Big Savages.
I can’t wait to set them up next to the Flocktown Farm earth oven and crank the heat across the board.
